Custard and Cruise Porch Parade

October 9 through October 23, 2020

The Custard and Cruise Porch Parade brought communities across Navajo County together in a fun and friendly competition! During National Domestic Violence Month (October) The FAC partnered with Village EVENTures and Navajo County Victim Services in a Countywide Parading in Place Contest, sponsored by Culvers and Jill Tinkel State Farm Insurance Agent. We asked community members and business owners to raise awareness with us by decorating their porch, yard or window. We wanted to stand together and let individuals and children know they are not alone. In this COVID-19 world we wanted to bring a smile to our friends and neighbors in a fun competition. The theme of the porch parade was Purple and Butterflies!

Be sure to watch the video showcasing winners and participants!

Our 8th Annual

Put it on the Tee for the FAC

Saturday, September 19, 2020

Important Update

We feel it is our responsibility to help flatten the coronavirus curve and keep you safe. In order to do this, we have decided to cancel our annual charity golf tournament “Put It On The Tee For The FAC” scheduled for Saturday, September 19 at the Torreon Golf Club. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. “Put It On The Tee For The FAC” will be back bigger and better in September of 2021. Previous golf participation at our event helped us to continue providing the services that child victims of sexual abuse and/or physical assault need and deserve. These services include: forensic interviews, forensic medical examinations, victim advocacy, counseling, case management, and education. The golf tournament is our biggest fundraiser. Please consider donating the cost of playing in this event — $125.00. If you have already registered to play, we will refund your money if requested to do so. The FAC is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that relies 100% on donations to provide victim services. Take advantage of the Arizona Tax Credit and charitable donations to help our child victims. The Arizona Tax Credit provides a dollar-for-dollar reduction in your Arizona income taxes. Donations to the FAC are eligible for an income tax credit in the amount of the donation, or $800.00 for joint filers and $400.00 for single filers. (Northeast Arizona Family Resource Center dba Navajo County Family Advocacy Center – Tax ID# 31-1585425 QCO Code: 21053) You may send your donation check to: Navajo County Family Advocacy Center, 902 East Deuce of Clubs, Show Low, 85901, OR click on the Donation button below. All donors will be recognized in a full page “Thank You” to be published in the White Mountain Independent. Please help the sexually abused and/or physically assaulted children in Navajo County. If you have any questions, please contact Cindy Reinholtz, Board of Directors/Tournament Director (928-242-2293), or Sandra Angelo, Director of Development (928-532-6231).
